Nomo Terms of Use

Terms for using Nomo’s digital wellbeing service.

Nomo service

Nomo is a digital wellbeing tool intended to help you pause before opening selected distracting apps and understand available usage patterns. Nomo is not medical, mental-health, or addiction-treatment advice, and does not guarantee any particular productivity, wellbeing, screen-time, or time-saving outcome.

Plans

Nomo Free includes protection for one protected app. Nomo Pro includes unlimited protected apps. Features are subject to the capabilities actually available in the version of Nomo you use.

Subscriptions and purchases

Nomo Pro subscriptions are offered through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles billing and displays the applicable price, billing period, and other purchase terms before purchase. A subscription may renew automatically according to the terms shown by Apple. You can manage or cancel an active subscription through your Apple account’s subscription-management experience.

Eligible purchases may be restored through Nomo’s Restore Purchases feature. Restoration is available only when Apple and Nomo’s subscription-entitlement service confirm an active entitlement.

Apple platform services

Nomo relies on Apple platform services, including Screen Time, Family Controls, Device Activity, and the App Store. Features can depend on supported iOS versions, Screen Time authorization, Apple APIs, and Apple platform behaviour. Nomo will make reasonable efforts to provide the app as described, but some functionality may be unavailable when those services are unavailable or permission is revoked.

Acceptable use

Please use Nomo lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with the app, bypass its security or payment systems, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or use it in a way that harms Nomo, Apple services, or other people.

Intellectual property

Nomo and its branding, content, and software are owned by or licensed to Nomo and are protected by applicable law. Subject to these terms and the applicable App Store terms, you may use the app for your personal use.

Availability and changes

Nomo may update, maintain, modify, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. We may update these Terms as Nomo changes; the effective date above will be updated when revised Terms are published.

Disclaimers and liability

Nomo is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Nomo is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app or the availability of Apple platform services.

Apple licence

These Terms govern Nomo’s service, plans, and subscriptions. The licensed iOS app is also subject to the applicable Apple App Store terms and, unless a different end-user licence agreement is presented through Apple, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
